I don’t have the food “noise” she discusses in her book but I have my own kind This is exactly what I want to do for you. You will walk away from that meal feeling really good physically and emotionally.

I broke free, and now I have thin thoughts. I’m not someone to buy a bethhenny of cake to only have two bites of it. It’s very sensical really, but the way she implements it is by stealing off of other people’s plates at pretty much every meal.

I went to thirteen different schools. Some of these celebrities have been my clients; others I’ve just met. Very simple and intuitive but they way she worded it and the tips she gave made it so much more understandable and hhin. I will say, while this rule can be a lot of fun, it can also be a very slippery slope. A year of disruption: What do you do when you have nzturally find a meal at a convenience store?

Maybe you are a soccer mom continually tempted by the ice cream truck, your kids’ leftovers, and pizza deliveries, but what about the girl in the city who lives right above the all-night pizza place? I haven’t committed to memory all of her rules but two or three that I find very helpful.

I adore Bethenny and the show and the book is just as entertaining. And yet, we keep going on to the next “new” diet, the one that frakel to finally fix our weight problems. Also she uses “absurd” and “as big as your head” one gazillion times.

So I’d like you to view the recipes in this book as guidelines. Though she did eat things like egg white omelets with veggies and salads and so on, a lot of what she says she ate during that week was just a lot of small bites of crap — a franekl of someone elses decadent dessert, a couple of bites of a fried appetizer.

In fact, the unnecessary repetition in general made me read parts of the book in a Charlie Brown teacher’s voice. Eventually, life intervenes, and you no longer have time or patience for all that nonsense.


She writes just like she speaks. It MUST be that way. There will be days, ok many days, when you could have done more to eat well, workout, sleep more, but heck, do what you can each day and try to make a teeny, tiny bit better than the day before.

She said the same thing over and over again in the book until I felt like I was reading the same sentence a million times. Part Two of this book is for people who want more structure. She also advises not to eat refined carbs without any protein because it digests too quickly. Before we get to the ten rules I’ve created for becoming naturally thin, you might want to know something about me.

I don’t even blame the magazines, books, and movies that conveyed impossible images of beauty and the supposed necessity of constant dieting. I started visiting the betting window at age six. On the other hand, I’m not interested in eating high-fat, high-sugar foods with no fiber, vitamins, or minerals. Which might be fine for some people, but for anyone who has real weight to lose, exercise is going to be key.

The first half, in which Bethenny talks about her 10 rules for living naturally thin, was great. Take notice of your food prep. In many ways, I had to raise myself. Slow down when you eat, your food isn’t going anywhere. If you don’t enjoy food, why bother? Click I Have iTunes to open it now.
